Reimagining building design for a more sustainable future. Flux Factory's set of interoperability tools allow computational designers to connect tools like Grasshopper, Dynamo, Revit, and Excel into powerful new, web-enabled workflows. My role as designer touches all aspect of the product, from first time user experience to the programming interface itself, social assets, copy, and geometry visualization.
May 2013 – June 2015, San Francisco, CA
Created wireframes and functional documentation for responsive web sites and apps using Axure, Illustrator, and InDesign. Designed workflows and ecosystem diagrams for client presentations, communicating high level UX concepts before drilling down into detailed UI layout and design. Collaborated closely with copywriters and art directors to turn high-level concepts into immersive experiences, then worked with technologists to bring these experiences to life through real-time messaging and visualizations.
February 2013 – May 2013, San Francisco, CA
A 3 month internship that translated into my full-time role as Associate User Experience Designer. Used a variety of software to create wireframes and prototypes for Audi Progressive Retail and Salesforce.com projects.
July 2012 – February 2013, Vancouver, BC
Worked as a member of the Business Intelligence Transversals team to harmonize panels, toolbars, workflows, and object interactions across a suite of software. Designed social onboarding apps, researched content aggregation and document repository tools, and led numerous user study sessions with SAP partners and internal teams.
April 2012 – July 2012, Spannum, Netherlands
A three month internship in a textile design studio in the Netherlands. Claudy Jongstra is noted for her innovative use of felting to create gigantic architectural installations using naturally dyed wool and silk.
January 2012 – April 2012, Surrey, BC
Worked directly with students to help them understand the basics of graphic design, leading into art direction for magazine layouts (both type and photography), up to the research on, and proposal of, new urban spaces. For three years I helped plan and lead a group of 100 junior students and 30 mentors through a three-day design charette in Seattle, WA.

TouchPoint was the inaugural symposium on interaction design hosted by the School of Interactive Arts and Technology and the forthcoming Center for Interaction Design Research. I handled all event logistics, student project submissions,
I personally organized the online ticket sale process, student project submissions for a showcase, and student portfolio submissions for interviews with the firms involved. In addition to this I was a go-to for contacting the students involved, scheduling interviews, maintaining the website, and promoting the event.
